Integrated AMD Ryzen 6000 graphics are on par with a GTX 1650
Integrated graphics in laptops have made laptops and notebooks hardly considered viable options for gaming if you don't want to play everything at minimum. There are integrated graphics games, but if you want a somewhat modern game and your computer is a laptop because you need it for mobility reasons, you're out of luck. Luckily now it seems integrated graphics can drive more powerful games as AMD has shown with its integrated graphics in the Ryzen 6000.
These CPUs have just arrived in laptops that have gone on sale today. Various tests have shown that even without the support of a graphics card, they can push modern games to 1080p on their own, even if you put the graphics on low quality.
The AMD Ryzen 6000 with Zen 3+ are worth to move games
These good results that the Ryzen 6000 are giving is because they have integrated RDNA 2 graphics. AMD is adopting the RDNA2 architecture which you use in series graphics cards RX 6000 for integrated graphics for the Ryzen 6000. There are two integrated graphics models available, and they will come with all Ryzen 6000 chips.
The Radeon 680M comes in Ryzen 7 and 9 processors, and features 12 RDNA 2 graphics cores and a clock speed of up to 2,4 GHz. With this chip, AMD claims that you can play almost every game out there in high definition. Some users who have had access to these models support what AMD says.
AMD has shown that the chip reaches 62 frames per second in Borderlands 3, as well as the 51 fps in Metro Exodus. The latter is a very visually demanding game and reaching 51 frames per second, well above the acceptable minimum of 30, is good news.
This means that laptops, which are often imperative decisions for users who need mobility for being students, mobile professionals or moving around a lot, do not have to sacrifice much of their game catalog. They have compared the graphic capacity with that of a NVIDIA GTX 1650 Max-Q, and vastly outperform the Iris Xe integrated graphics that Intel is hyping so much with the Intel EVO label.
