The HP website refers to an NVIDIA GTX 1180 graphics card, of which we did not have the least data and which could arrive shortly.
The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti graphics card, a Turing architecture graphics without RT Cores and Tensor Cores, was officially released yesterday. Predictably we will see shortly the GTX 1660 and GTX 1650. The HP website on the other hand mentions a graphics card about which we had no information. According to the HP website we will see the arrival of an NVIDIA GTX 1180 with 8GB of VRAM, of which no version is specified. This will come for both laptops and desktops.

We do not know the architecture on which this graphics card is based until now unknown. It could be a graph with one of the Pascal silicones that have failed to output. It does not seem foreseeable that it will be a Turing silicon graphic without RT Cores and Tensor Cores, because this would be reserved for the GTX 16 Series. Right now any of the assumptions are viable.
A few months ago there was already talk of a GTX 1180 that was seen in the GFXBench software. This graphics offered the same performance as the RTX 2080. It seems absurd for NVIDIA to launch a graphics that competes with one of its best graphics. If it were without RayTracing and DLSS it should be cheaper and a solution for those who do not want these technologies.
What is clear is that NVIDIA with the names is driving us crazy, because if it goes on the market we would have the GTX 11 Series, GTX 16 Series and RTX 20 Series.
