This is how the veto will affect companies that stop working with Huawei, according to Goldman Sachs

Calculated by Goldman Sachs, how much each company that is forced to veto Huawei by order of Trump will stop entering.

It's clear that the US ban on Huawei won't come without a price. Companies that support it will lose a lot of money, as is to be expected, since they will no longer be able to sell their products to Huawei. Some will be more affected than others, but all will feel the pinch. Goldman Sachs, one of the world's largest investment and securities firms , has calculated the cost of the ban. They have determined how much revenue each company will lose as a result of the Huawei ban.

Goldman Sachs calculates how much companies will lose from the Huawei veto

The worst will, according to the calculations made, will be Flextronics International (Flex). This company is dedicated to different solutions in the electronics industry. It offers services from design, manufacturing, distribution and product warranty service. This company would stop earning approximately 325 million euros a year from Huawei. It is followed by Broadcom, which stopped earning about 275 million euros and Qualcomm, which stopped earning about 208 million euros.

The list contains such important companies as Seagate, which will lose about 103 million euros and Micron, which will lose about 97 million euros. If Intel stops supplying processors, it would lose about 80 million euros. AMD would also be affected and not a little, stopping to enter 45 million euros. Who would least notice it would NVIDIA, which would only lose about 24 million euros of revenue from Huawei.

These losses could even be the source of the bankruptcy of NeoPhotonics, a Californian company. The company is specialized in the development, manufacture and sale of different optoelectronic products that transmit, receive and switch digital optical signals at high speed in communication networks. This company depends almost 50% on Huawei, so it would be the most affected. For the rest of the companies, stopping working with Huawei means a turnover drop of 10% or less.
