Images of the Intel Xeon Sapphire Rapids processor published [Possible fake]

Intel is currently working to launch a large number of processors under the 2021nm node in 10. ServeTheHome forum user '111allan' has posted two images that appear to be Intel Xeon Sapphire Rapids processors. We can see in the image that this processor would have a dual silicon design, quite similar to the design of the Cascade Lake-SP processors.

They indicate that it could be a false image

The 10nm lithography has proven to be a major disaster. Intel CEO Bob Swan commented long ago that the density had been increased by 2.7 times over 14nm lithography. While it initially looked very promising, it has actually turned into a huge problem. The design of monolithic processors under the 10nm lithography would be giving failures in the manufacturing process.

These new Sapphire Rapids processors come under the 10nm lithography with a dual DIE design. For these new processors, the LGA4677 socket has been created, which as its name suggests, has 4977 pins. A processor (and their respective motherboards) that is scheduled to hit the market next year 2021.

We can see that the size of the processor is quite important. If we look, especially in the image of the pins, we can see that it is a double DIE design. It is clear that this makes use of an MCM design and would be connected by EMIB.

The new family of Sapphire Rapids processors would be the first to implement some new technologies. These new processors would implement support for DDR5 memory that is complemented by Intel's Data Transmission Accelerator (DSA). Additionally, these processors will support PCIe 5.0 with support for CXL 1.1 technology.

Not much else is known about the Intel Xeon Sapphire Rapids family. Note that this processor shown would be an engineering sample that works at a frequency of 2.0GHz.
