Images of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 Founders Edition

We already have the images of the long-awaited Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 in its Founders Edition version. With the same aesthetics as her older sisters and several things that I will explain to you and that will make you stay frozen.

As I said before, we already have the images of the new Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 in its Founders Edition version. Its design is the same as its older sisters such as the Nvidia RTX 2070, 2080 and 2080ti. It is not strange to find them the same since Nvidia usually does it in its Founders Edition models. Ventilation has really surprised me as Nvidia has turned around and switched from its typical turbine cooling and dual fan cooling, but the gray will always be there.

Technical specifications.

For the power supply of this graphics card, a single connector will be used, in this case one of eight pins. In the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6GB we also found a single connector but in this case it was six pins instead of eight.

That already tells us that it will spend more, but supposedly it would have to be a little more powerful. As rear connectors we find two DisplayPorts, a single HDMI port, a DVI port. Finally we find a USB type C, which we can use for virtual reality glasses.

From what we know, the model we are talking about is the 6GB GDDR6 model with a bandwidth of 14 Gbp / s. It is quite a big leap to go to GDDR6 memories since they are much faster than the GDDR5 that we found in the 1000 series. This graphics card will contain a TU106-300 silicon. Inside contains 30 RT Cores, 1920 CUDA cores, 240 Tensor Cores. Also 120TMUs, 48 ROPs and a base frequency of 1365 MHz along with a Turbo frequency of 1680 MHz.

Conclusions.

As we see in the specifications, we have a notable improvement compared to the Nvidia 1000 series. From its aesthetics to its technical specifications. We still have to wait for its presentation, we believe that it could be presented at CES 2019 and that at the beginning of the year it will be available for purchase. It does not look bad, but until we have the official presentation we should never trust this type of thing.
