Intel Arc Alchemist could have a 310 GB A4 that will replace the DG1 line

Recent rumors claim that Intel's Arc Alchemist A-Series line of graphics cards will include a very low-end graphics card known as the A310. It comes from Bilibili leaker Enthusiast Citizen, who reported the line a few days ago.
Although Intel did not officially launch the DG1 graphics card in the field of desktop computers, it ended up in the segment of original equipment manufacturers with options from a series of AIBs. Being an entry-level design, it has had some popularity given its low price and set of features that make it capable of running current games, even with minimal graphics. Now, according to the new rumor, Intel is expected to release a successor to the graphics card DG1 that it has shipped to OEM manufacturers, in the form of the Arc A310 graphics card.
The fight for the very low graphics segment extends
The previous rumor already spoke of four Intel Arc A-Series graphics cards for desktop computers based on Alchemist DG2 GPUs. If the rumor about the Arc A310 is correct, it would be the fifth graphics card in the line. The name of the A310 pretty much sums up what this card is: an entry-level, low-power graph which will be aimed at the segment of original equipment manufacturers. This card may also only be released in the OEM segment and may not see a standalone release, although it could pass as the AMD Radeon RX 6400 and come out standalone several months later.

Regarding its specifications, the Arc A310 would be a reduced graphics card, located below the Arc A380 and the Arc A350. It will use the ACM-G11 GPU core and will feature 4 GB of GDDR6 memory on a 64-bit bus interface. It could keep the 96 EUs of the Arc A350 series or go even lower with only 64 EUs enabled. That will be half of the full ACM-G11 GPU it is based on. Its performance would be slower than that of the Radeon RX 6400 graphics card, but you have to keep in mind In this segment, the price matters more..
As for the other graphics cards that were detailed last week, the same leaker reports that Intel's Arc A380 will sit between the RTX 3050 and RX 6400 graphics cards. The mid-range Arc A580 will sit between the RTX 3060 and RX 6600 graphics cards, while the high-end Arc A750 will be faster than the RTX 3060. The Arc A770 will end up being faster than the RTX 3060 Ti. .
In certain scenarios, Intel's Arc range will offer higher performance, such as Raytracing and titles with XeSS support. But Intel has to adjust to doing a lot of work on the driver side before it can really compete with NVIDIA and AMD.
