This is how the market share of Spain Intel and AMD are distributed in May 2019 [EXCLUSIVE]
Table of Contents
We bring you, as every month, the report of the sale of processors, both Intel and AMD, showing the clear supremacy of Intel in the market.
As usual in recent monthsWe already have the report on the sale of processors in Spain. After grouping the data and synthesizing it, we can now offer you the report. As we can see, Intel continues to lead the market for processors, with almost 60% market share. This contrasts with the data from Germany, where AMD dominates with almost 70% market share.
There is very interesting data that we can get from this report, such as that the Ryzen 7 2600 is the best seller at AMD. A trend that repeats itself over time and that seems quite curious, to say the least. At Intel it is more distributed, although there are three processors that stand out from the rest.

This time at Intel the simplest range of processors has more than 7.5% market share. The Pentium G4560 and Pentium Gold G5400 take some prominence. Just a little higher in sales are four Core i3 models, which close to 8.5% of the market share.
Within the mid-range we find that the Core i5-9400F, has more than 19.5% market share. Curiously, this processor is the best seller, although there are two that are very close. Recall that the best seller last month was the Core i9 9900K. It follows the Core i5-9400F, the Core i5-9600K, which touches the 10% share of Intel processors.
As we see in the high-end, the Core i7-9700K and Core i9-9900K stand out, which share market share. Both processors have registered a 15.96% market share, which is truly amazing. We are talking about high-end processors clearly preferring Intel.
SALE OF AMD PROCESSORS IN MAY 2019
Especially at AMD I would like to start by highlighting the APUs. To date, these had hardly had a leading role, registering practically marginal sales. But this month they are up strongly, taking over 16% of sales. Mostly the Ryzen 3 2200G has been sold with a 14% market share. The simplest solution, having fallen in price quite a bit, has become especially attractive.
The king of AMD is the Ryzen 5 2600, which repeats as the company's best-selling processor. Not only does it repeat as the best seller, but also achieving more than 50% market share (for very little). It is clear that users prefer this processor to the Ryzen 5 2600X, which does not reach 10% market share.
Finally, highlight the Ryzen 7 2700, which adds almost 15% of market share. We also highlight that the Ryzen 7 1700X records almost 2.5% of sales. It's clear that AMD's 'X-Series' processors are of no interest to users.
INTE-AMD MARKET SHARE IN MAY 2019
Well, there is little to say, since the graph speaks for itself. Intel dominates the market with 57%, while AMD keeps 43%. Only in January of this year AMD managed to sell more processors than Intel. A trend that could be reversed next month with the arrival of the Ryzen 3000.
CONCLUSION
Well, getting something clean depends on your point of view. What the data shows is that Intel's high-end sells very well, making it clear that the price is not relevant. At AMD the mid-range sells itself and above all highlights that the 'X-Series' processors are of interest to users. We must remember that the only advantage is the XFR, which increases the frequency slightly, if possible.
