Intel Comet Lake-S already has a price in Spain and is still absurd
The arrival of Intel's Comet Lake-S processors is just around the corner. These new processors are based on the company's 14nm architecture, but with significant refinements. Additionally, these processors bring back HyperThreading and add Thermal Velocity Boost technology. The prices for several of these Comet Lake-S processors have now been released , and they're staggering.
We have found in PCComponentes the prices of several of these processors and the truth is that they are not cheap. Everything indicated that Intel would get off the donkey with this new generation of processors, but it has not been like that. Some processors that will arrive with more expensive motherboards, which will have to be bought because the socket changes.

We start with the Intel Core i5-10400F which has 6 cores and 12 threads. This processor will work at a base frequency of 2.9GHz and in Boost mode it will reach 4.3GHz, while all the cores will reach a maximum of 4.0GHz. This processor has a TDP of 65W and a price of € 179.90.
We continue with the Intel Core i5-10500, also with 6 cores and 12 threads. This processor will work at a base frequency of 3.1GHz and will arrive in Boost mode at 4.5GHz, but in all cores at 4.2GHz. It has a TDP of 65W and costs € 205.90.
We move on to the Intel Core i5-10600KF, which also has 6 cores and 12 threads. It has a base frequency of 4.1GHz and in Boost mode it will reach 4.8GHz, while all the cores will reach 4.5GHz. It has a TDP of 125W and a price of € 274.90. The Core i5-10600K, with the same specifications and with a functional iGPU costs € 305.90.
The high-end continues at absurd prices
Let's go to the Intel Core i7-10700KF, which has 8 cores and 16 threads. This processor has a base frequency of 3.8GHz and in Boost mode it will reach 5.0GHz. All cores can run at a maximum of 4.7GHz. Additionally, the best of the cores through Thermal Velocity Boost can reach 5.1GHz. It has a TDP of 125W and a price of € 415.90. The Core i7-10700K has the same specifications but has an iGPU and this makes it cost € 449.90.
Finally we come to the jewel in the crown, the 9-core, 10900-thread Intel Core i10-20K. It works at a base frequency of 3.7GHz and in Boost mode it reaches 5.1GHz, although all cores can go to a maximum of 5.8GHz. Through Thermal Velocity Boost, this processor can reach 5.3GHz. It has a TDP of 125W and a price of € 569.90. The Core i9-10900KF, which is the same but without an iGPU, is priced at € 539.90.
As we can see, Intel's high-end Comet Lake-S processors are still priced out of the market. The truth is that they do not seem serious competition for the AMD Ryzen 3000.

You sneaked in at the end, it says that the i9 10900k will reach 5.8ghz in all the nuclei
