Intel Core 'F Series', processors without integrated graphics but at the same price as those with integrated graphics
Five new Intel Coffee Lake Refresh processors from the new 'F Series' without graphics that are worth the same as those with integrated graphics.
One of the most absurd products of Intel in recent years has been the Coffee Lake Refresh F processors. These processors that do not contribute absolutely anything, only have the graphics disabled. A very negative aspect of these processors is that they are not cheaper, they are worth the same. Yes, these new processors are the same price as the current Coffee Lake Refresh. It also comes at a time when Intel is unable to meet demand.
Coffee Lake Refresh F, the processors of discord
This product currently does not make the slightest sense considering the company's problems. It was in August that it was first reported that they were having trouble meeting demand for processors. Removing these processors only compounds, in theory, this problem. The company has not given data on these processors and is still quite opaque with its production problems.
There is no performance improvement for these processors, the working frequencies are the same, the overclocking capacity is the same and the TDP is identical. Therefore they are not logical processors nor do they respond to any need in the market. These will be the 'F Series' processors that will hit the market:
- Intel Core i9-9900KF: 8 cores + 16 threads @ 3.60 / 5.00 GHz with 95W TDP
- Intel Core i7-9700KF: 8 cores + 8 threads @ 3.60 / 4.90 GHz with 95W TDP
- Intel Core i7-9600F: 6 cores + 6 threads @ 3.70 / 4.60 GHz with 95W TDP
- Intel Core i5-9400F: 6 cores + 6 threads @ 2.90 / 4.10 GHz with 65W TDP
- Intel Core i3-9350KF: 4 cores + 4 threads @ 4.00 / 4.60 GHz with 91W TDP
