They find indications of an unconfirmed Intel Core i9 14900KS

Another leak has come to light that, if true, could mean that we are facing one of the most powerful gaming CPUs of all time at the consumer level. According to popular hardware YouTuber Moore's Law Is Dead, we could have an Intel Core i9 14900KS model, of which they would have made a benchmark.

Apparently, this powerful processor could be launched after the rumored i9 14900K. Moore's Law is Dead speculates that, «this could be the SKU with clock speeds of ~6,2GHz«. KS editions of Intel CPUs are usually the most powerful of all as they are unlocked and support overclocking.

An Intel Core i9 14900KS could arrive in the future

Similar to the relationship between the i9 13900K and the i9 13900KS, the i9 14900KS would likely be an upgraded version of the i9 14900K. A leak about the specifications of the Intel Core i9 14900K claims that the performance would have increased up to 15% compared to its last generation counterpart.

Moore's Law Is Dead claims that the i9 14900K "seems to reach a maximum clock speed of ~6 GHz«This would be in line with the 4-8% increase in single-threaded performance and 8-15% increase in multi-threaded performance suggested by previous leaks.

It seems that the Intel Core i9 14900KS would be one of the most coveted CPUs for gaming by the enthusiast sector, if these leaks are true. This is what usually happens, and for what higher-end CPUs are sold the most, since for the professional sector, they already have the professional Xeon range, adapted to server and Artificial Intelligence work. But of course, these are rumors and alleged leaks that Intel would eventually confirm, or deny, or that simply would not be announced because there is nothing to announce about it.
