Intel Core i9 9900T, a processor with frequencies cut for a tight TDP
It seems that Intel would be finalizing the launch of the Core i9 9900T, a processor similar to the Core i9 9900K with cut frequencies.
Intel's business strategy has long since ceased to make any sense. Despite having a demand higher than production capacity, new processors continue to be announced. Now comes the Intel Core i9 9900T that belongs to the Coffee Lake Refresh family. This new processor has 8 cores and 8 threads, like the Core i9 9900K, although the frequencies are lower. Specifically, the Core i9 9900K works at a base frequency of 1.7GHz and in Boost mode it reaches 3.6GHz.

This new processor is based on 14nm lithography and is a version with lower frequencies, which significantly reduces consumption. The i9 9900T has a TPD of 35W while the i9 9900K has a TDP of 95W. So this new processor seems more designed for low power systems.
The differences between both processors are the frequencies and the TDP, the rest of the characteristics are identical. This processor has 16MB of L3 Cache and also integrates Intel UHD 630 graphics. The performance of this processor or whether it will have overclocking capabilities has not been revealed, which seems quite likely.
