Intel DG1, its first GPU, performs below expectations and its TDP would be high
Intel's leap into the desktop graphics card market is in the works, though it remains for us to see. The idea is to compete directly with NVIDIA and Intel on all product ranges. Rumors have recently surfaced that Intel's first dedicated GPU, dubbed DG1, will be 23% more powerful than iGPUs in Tiger Lake processors.
If this rumor came true, everything indicates that Intel could not compete with AMD and NVIDIA at the moment. It should be noted that the launch at the moment has no date and that anything can happen. Intel DG1 GPU performs less than expected
