Intel will go with its three heavyweights to CES 2020

CES 7 will be held on January 2020 in Las Vegas. This technological event is the first of the year and companies usually show the most outstanding they have and that we will see during the year. Intel on the 6th will give a great conference where the three heavyweights of the company will attend. There will be Bob Swan, CEO of the company, Navin Shenoy, General Manager of Data Centers and Gregory Bryzen, General Manager of the Customer Department.

This event will be divided into two parts, the one on January 6 being focused on Intel's Cloud, networks, Edge Computing, Artificial Intelligence and to know what else. On January 7 it will be about Intel Auto, with activities for the media and driving analysts. Amnon Shashua, CEO of Mobileye, will showcase ADAS autonomous driving assistance systems.

Intel goes all out to CES 2020

The highlight for us will be next January 6, where the presentation of great news is expected. Everything suggests that we will see the Intel Comet Lake-S processors for desktop computers. We should see data regarding the new sockets and the new chipsets. We may also see 10nm processors for laptops and Ice Lake-SP processors for servers.

To offer a notable performance jump in the Intel Comet Lake-S, 10 cores and 20 threads have been integrated for the top of the range. HyperThreading has also been recovered with respect to Coffee Lake Refresh. Thanks to recovering the HyperThreading it will be improved by 18% compared to its predecessor processors.

Cooper Lake-SP for servers and Data Centers will be based on 14nm. We may also have a presence of Intel Ice Lake-SP, processors for servers and Data Centers based on 10nm lithography.

We could also see a preview of the company's graphics cards. And it is that a few days ago Intel indicated that they would shortly give information about their new GPUs. Maybe it's the big bomb at CES 2020 or maybe they'll shut it up for later.
