Intel Iris Xe for Tiger Lake @ 10nm processors is seen
There is a lot of interest to know what the next graphics cards will be integrated into Intel processors. These upcoming iGPUs would be the first to have been developed largely by Raja Koduri. SiSoft Sandra software lets us see the Intel Iris Xe graphics. This graphics card has 96 Execution Units, or what is the same, 768 Shading Units.
These new integrated graphics will arrive alongside Intel Tiger Lake @ 10nm processors. Iris Xe is based on Intel Gen12 architecture, which is the latest in the company. According to the data, these new iGPUs should double the performance of the Gen11 integrated in the Ice Lake @ 10nm, which seems somewhat implausible.

It seems that the company is going step by step, moving cautiously. They have a lot to do in the graphics card segment, as all of their iGPUs are for video output and little else. Intel wants to compete with NVIDIA and AMD, but that will not be easy in either case.
The Iris Xe that has been seen in SiSoft Sandra has 768 Shading Units working at 1.3GHz and accompanied by 6.3GB of memory. Surely this memory is shared DDR4, come on, it takes it from all the RAM available in the laptop.
Technically this will be the same silicon as the Intel DG1 GPU. The dedicated solution has a TDP of 75W, while this iGPU has a TDP of just 28W. We must emphasize that DG1 will not be a market graphic, but rather for developers to become familiar with the company's new graphic architecture.
Regarding the performance of the Iris Xe for the Tiger Lake @ 10nm, it should perform like an NVIDIA MX350 with 25W TDP. Not using a dedicated graphic allows reducing the price of the laptop and also increases the autonomy by eliminating consumption.
