Intel may soon launch Ice Lake-U and Comet Lake-U processors

The data of the new 10nm Intel Ice Lake-U processors and the 14nm Comet Lake-U processors, designed for very low consumption laptops, are filtered.

During Computex 2019 we will see the new AMD Ryzen 3000 Series processors. It is a highly anticipated release by users and by everyone. We really want to see what these new processors have in store for us. This on the other hand forces Intel to move card urgently and forcefully. If a few days ago an Intel Roadmap about processors was leaked, now the processors are named.

Intel to launch Ice Lake-U and Comet Lake-U shortly

The leak refers to Ice Lake-U processors on the one hand. These next-generation processors are based on the company's 10nm lithography. It will have between two and four cores at fairly discrete frequencies. They have a Dual Channel DDR4-3200 system and the TDP of these processors is 15W. You are clearly intended for entry-level and mid-range laptops. The models are as follows:

  • Core i7-1065G7: 4 cores 1.3 GHz / max. Turbo 3.9 GHz (iGPU 64EU)
  • Core i5-1035G7: 4 cores 1.2 GHz / max. Turbo 3.7 GHz (iGPU 64EU)
  • Core i5-1035G4: 4 cores 1.1 GHz / max. Turbo 3.7 GHz (iGPU 48EU)
  • Core i5-1035G1: 4 cores 1.0 GHz / max. Turbo 3.6 GHz (iGPU 32EU)
  • Core i5-1034G1: 4 cores 0.8 GHz / max. Turbo 3.6 GHz (iGPU 32EU)
  • Core i3-1005G1: 2 cores 1,2 GHz / max. Turbo 3.4 GHz (iGPU 32EU)

On the other hand, we have Comet Lake-U processors, intended for compact and portable systems. These processors will have two, four and six cores with Dual Channel DDR4-2400. The data of the graphics that will integrate have not been given and they will have a TDP of 15W. The models are as follows:

  • Core i7-10710U: 6 cores 1.1 GHz / max. Turbo 4.6 GHz
  • Core i7-10510U: 4 cores 1.8 GHz / max. Turbo 4.9 GHz
  • Core i5-10210U: 4 cores 1.6 GHz / max. Turbo 4.2 GHz
  • Core i3-10110U: 2 cores 2.1 GHz / max. Turbo 4.1 GHz
