Intel acquires Habana Labs

Israel's Havana Labs company raised $ 75 million from investors. This year it has been acquired for 2.000 billion dollars by Intel. It is not that it is an absurd figure and it is that Havana Labs' income forecast for 2019 is 3.500 billion dollars. There are estimates that put it at a value of 25.000 million dollars by the year 2024.

This acquisition advances our artificial intelligence strategy, which is to provide customers with solutions to meet all performance needs, from the smart edge to the data center. More specifically, Habana loads our AI offerings for the data center with a family of high-performance training processors and a standards-based programming environment to address evolving AI workloads.

Despite the fact that Habana Labs has been acquired by Intel, it will continue to operate independently. No changes have been foreseen in terms of the developer team, possibly on the contrary, we will seek to incorporate people. In addition, the Israeli company is empowered by the patents and technologies of the American company.
