Intel would have more than twelve variations of Gen11 graphics ready for its 10nm processors

Based on the latest Intel graphics driver, there are more than a dozen variations of the Gen11 Iris Graphics iGPUs depending on the family for which they are intended.

We have been talking about the new Intel graphics cards for a long time. The company has ready the iGPUs that will be integrated into the Ice Lake based on 10nm and finalizes its dedicated graphics. Little else is known about the company's graphic future at all levels. Using the latest Intel Graphics drivers implemented by the Graphics Command Center, we know a little more about the upcoming iGPUs. Thanks to the INF file we know that the Gen11 graphics architecture will have a wide variety of iGPU versions.

Intel would have a large number of iGPUs ready

Through a file inside the drivers we know that the Gen11 will be integrated into the Ice Lake and Lakefield architectures. More than a dozen different iGPUs are prepared according to the needs of each processor. Some iGPUs that will also have a version for Elkhart Lake, which will be used for Pentium Silver and Celeron processors.

The INF file references a total of 13 derivations of the Gen11 graphics developed for Ice Lake. Above all, these new integrated graphics are characterized by increasing the number of execution units (EU) and the management of LP power, to adjust consumption. Intel Core processors will receive the most complete versions of the Gen11. The most powerful model will be the Iris Plus Graphics 950, which would have 64 EU enabled and high frequencies. Possibly this version is restricted to the Core i7 and Core i9.

Below we have the Iris Plus Graphics 940 that will also have 64EU but with a lower frequency for the Core i5. The Iris Plus Graphics 930 will have a version with 64 EU and 48 EU, which will possibly be destined for the Core i3. Finally the Iris Plus 920 could have 32 EU and would be destined for the Pentium Gold. UHD Graphics Gen11 LP variations could indicate versions for iGPUs that will be integrated into notebook processors.
