Intel “The Odyssey” a series of events to present its new graphics cards
To promote its new graphics, Intel will hold events in at least seventeen cities around the world, which it has dubbed "The Odyssey."
Intel is expected to present and possibly launch its first dedicated graphics cards for gaming at the end of the year. The company's bet is to compete with NVIDIA in the high-end, complicating the life of AMD Radeon. How could it be otherwise, the company is priming this launch. We have seen how since the beginning of the year the company has been explaining or giving small details regarding these graphics and always with Raja Koduri as the face of these new products.
Intel and its big bet on graphics
Before Intel Xe graphics arrive, we will see the solutions built into the processors themselves. These new iGPUs from the company will be entry-level solutions with good performance.
The company has also just launched "The Odyssey", a set of events around the world, which offers gaming fans a platform to comment. Gamers, content creators or designers are expected to give their opinion or talk about what they are looking for in a graphic. Right now events have been confirmed in Taipei, Bangalore, Paris, London and Dublin, although the company has seventeen events. They seek to offer fans an "approach to the inner workings of visual technology development"
Odyssey is built on a passionate community, focused on improving graphics and visual computing for everyone from gamers to content creators. And we want voices like yours to help guide us.
We are committed to listening to the community and, in return, you will get closer than ever to the inner workings of visual technology development.
