Leaked benchmark of a 4-core Intel Tiger Lake-S @ 5.0GHz
Interestingly, only a few hours have passed since the appearance of the Intel Comet Lake-S review and the benchmarks of other families of processors are already sprouting. If a while ago data from the Rocket Lake-S was filtered, now a benchmark of a Tiger Lake-U is filtered. These processors for notebook computers are based on 10nm lithography.
It seems incredible that the Comet Lake-S processors were announced on Wednesday of this week and we already talked about the following. What's more, the Comet Lake-S will not be able to start buying until the 28th of this month. There is not much information about the Tiger Lake-U, but they do point to being great solutions for laptops, according to this leak.

The Tiger Lake-S processors are based on the Willow Cove architecture, which replaces the current Golden Cove. These new 10nm based processors should offer excellent performance as they are based on the 10nm + node. According to rumors, it would outperform the Core i7-1068NG7.
This filtered Tiger Lake-S processor has 4 cores and 8 threads working at a base frequency of 2.3GHz and reaching 5.0GHz in Boost mode. This processor is accompanied by an integrated Intel Xe Gen12 graphics. Unfortunately the screenshot shown does not give much more data. And it is that the lithography and the TDP are not identified.
Tiger Lake-S should offer a nice leap in performance over the company's current processors. Perhaps they will become a great solution to develop low-cost gaming laptops. They could be accompanied by relatively powerful graphics for laptops, although they will always be more expensive than those based on AMD Ryzen.
