Intel's Tiger Lake with iGPU Xe moves Battlefield V to 1080p in high quality at a stable 30FPS rate
The best processors for notebooks today are AMD Ryzen with integrated iGPU, also known as APU. These processors are characterized by offering good performance for gaming, even the Ryzen 3 4300U moves the Crysis no need for heatsink. Well, an Intel Tiger Lake @ 10nm with a Gen12 Intel Xe iGPU moves the Battlefield V to 1080p @ 30FPS resolution with high quality.
Intel Xe is by no means a very powerful solution, but it is a notable leap from current iGPUs. Raja Koduri came to Intel with the task of evolving the company's graphics processors and it seems that he is delivering. This new iGPU is just a preview of what the company would be preparing.

Ryan Shrout, Head of Performance Strategies at Intel has posted the video on his official Twitter account. The video shows the Tiger Lake processor iGPU moving the Battlefield V without much trouble. The graphics setting is set to 1920 × 1080 pixels @ 60Hz resolution with High graphics quality. The game moves at a stable 30FPS which is a great data.
It should be noted that the execution of Battlefield V is not done in multiplayer mode, where there is more action and therefore more load. Anyway, this gives us an idea of the performance of the company's new iGPUs. For casual gaming these iGPUs are very competitive, on the same level as Ryzen APUs.
It is certainly a big leap for Intel, which in the future could be greater with improvements in the architecture. We must bear in mind that Intel Xe is still in an early stage of development. Koduri has only been in the company for two years and having a good product takes between 4-5 years, something that can be seen in the evolution of the AMD Ryzen.
