The maximum read and write speeds of this model are 7000 MB/s and 6850 MB/s respectively. The NVMe PCIe 4 x4 interface offers twice the speed of older 3 x4 solutions. The memory speed is also influenced by the DRAM buffer memory of up to 2 GB, thanks to which the unit works stably even with heavy use.
The controller used is a high-tech eight-channel Phison PS5018-E18. It is compatible with version 1.4 of the NVMe protocol. The IRDM PRO SLIM is available in three capacities: 1 TB, 2 TB and 4 TB, all of which multiply the memory of the PS5 console and allow it to better adapt to the growing market for digital games and updates.

The IRDM PRO SLIM also makes great storage for desktops and laptops, for both home and professional use. In these cases, it will be appreciated by professionals who highly value the responsiveness of their system and the speed of applications. PCs and laptops equipped with a drive with a 4 x4 PCIe interface perform better in tasks such as creating 3D animations, modeling, photo processing, video editing, rendering, or working with huge data sets. This unit comes with a 5-year manufacturer's warranty, but limited by the TBW limit.
