The PowerColor RX Vega Nano will be seen at Computex
Graphics card maker PowerColor has announced that it will bring the AMD RX Vega Nano to Computex, where it will be seen and possibly when all the specifications will be given.
It has been almost a year to find out more about the AMD RX Vega Nano graphics cards, and it is not because AMD is selling the Vega 64 and Vega 56. The difficulty in assembling the GPUs, the shortage of HMB2 memory, the very low performance of these GPUs, their high consumption and high temperatures, have so far prevented the RX Vega Nano from being launched on the market. It will be some time before they are finally released, but PowerColor has already announced them and now says they will show them at Computex.
PowerColor will showcase the RX Vega Nano at Computex
The RX Vega is based on the RX Vega 56 and the difference is on the PCB, which is practically half. If you look at any image of the Vega 56 or the Vega 64, you will see that there is a giant chunk of the PCB that is 'left over'. This excess PCB is due to the large heatsinks that have to be installed to control the temperature, something that they could possibly contain in this compact mode, with a reduction in frequencies, but at the moment everything is based on assumptions, since there is no concrete data in this regard.
PowerColor seems to have the upper hand in these graphics cards and everything indicates that they launched the RX Vega Nano before the rest of the manufacturers. Be that as it may, PowerColor will show them at Computex and possibly we will finally see how this graphics card will play. Logically, the manufacturer has not revealed the technical specifications, but some improvement must exist to finally launch the reduced model. We will see when it is launched on the market and if its price is within the market, since the current RX Vega are absurdly expensive.
