Lenovo in its new Legion T7 lists the RTX 3070 Ti graphics card
Just yesterday NVIDIA presented us with the new RTX 3090, RTX 3080 and RTX 3070. These new Ampere architecture graphics cards are true monstrosities with quite competitive prices. The surprise comes from the hand of Lenovo, who in the specifications of the Legion T7 equipment speaks of the RTX 3070 Ti, which would be a version of the RTX 3070 on steroids.
The new RTX 3070 Ti would rank in performance between the RTX 3070 and RTX 3080, among others, due to increased memory. As you know, the RTX 3070 is based on 8GB GDDR6 and the new RTX 3070 Ti would arrive with 16GB GDDR6, initially. But it would not be uncommon for you to mount Micron's new 6Gb GDDR16X.

As we can see, the Lenovo Legion T7 specification sheet could not be clearer. We can see that it would integrate an RTX 3070 Ti which would arrive with a total of 16GB GDDR6. The consumption would not be anything excessive, since it comes with a 650W power supply with 90% efficiency.
Looking at the specifications of the three NVIDIA graphics presented yesterday, it seems clear that intermediate models will come out. There is enough price and power margin to insert Ti models and / or Super models. And it is that the Ampere architecture seems to arrive with a large number of versions suitable for all audiences.
The RTX 3080 offers 8704 CUDA Cores and the RTX 3070 offers 5888 CUDA Cores, so at this point there is plenty of room for a new graph. The price differential between the two charts oscillates around 200 euros, so at this point there is also margin. The RTX 3080 offers 29.8 TFLOPs of power and the RTX 3070 offers 20.3 TFLOPs, so at this point, there is also headroom.
It will be interesting to see when this graph is announced if it is finally announced. Everything suggests that it would not be presented before 2021.
