GeForce 397.31 WHQL drivers cause problems with NVIDIA GTX 1060

Serious problems for users who have an NVIDIA GTX 1060 and have updated to the new drivers, the ones released yesterday, which would be causing quite a few problems.

Just yesterday the new NVIDIA graphics arrived, the GeForce 397.31 WHQL and these drivers, which should not be news again, are news again and they are causing serious problems with NVIDIA GTX 1060 graphics cards. The problem is that they are giving many problems as for the screen and that is very serious, since the GTX 1060 are the most popular of the company, because they have an excellent price and offer exceptional performance.

The usual thing, after installing the drivers, is to update the equipment, a common process that the installer itself requires. The problem is that many users, after rebooting, have found that the same screen was displayed all the time in a kind of endless loop.

Normally it is a problem that NVIDIA saves the files of the installer drivers on the hard disk, taking up a lot of space, but in this case it is appreciated, because the task of going back is viable. But in this case it could not be a solution either, since accessing the home screen is not possible, due to problems in the graphical interface. The usual way to access is in safe mode and run the Display Driver Uninstaller, to eliminate the problematic driver. This process is not easy and not everyone knows it.

NVIDIA has commented that they are working on correcting this problem and hope to have a patch ready as quickly as possible, to avoid inconvenience for users. We will have to wait until the company announces that it already has the drivers fixed, to avoid the same thing happening to us and we have to do a thousand stories to fix it.
