A patent filed by Microsoft for a special bracelet that would help people with Parkinson's.

Technology, just as it has bad things, has really good things that change people's lives. Microsoft since 2015 that launched the Band 2, which happened without pain or glory, did not launch a wearable. That device did something very interesting and innovative: measure the volume of oxygen in the blood. The company has registered a patent for a smart bracelet developed for people with Parkinson's.

It is also combined with special sensors. The function is to minimize or at least stabilize the involuntary movements of the joint or limb.

Without a doubt, it is a great advance that could improve the quality of life of those who have this ailment. If this device is finally successful and functional, not only those with Parkinson's will benefit. Similarly it is expected to help many more people with other ailments.

Microsoft wants me to know a lot more and seems to have added a WiFi + Bluetooth module for communication. Who to make it compatible with smartphone applications. This device is apparently expected to collect more data to provide a comprehensive report.

The decisive aspect of this device is the battery, since the utility will depend on it. However, if it is capable of lasting several days we will have a comfortable and very usable solution. If, on the contrary, it has a very limited duration, less than a day, it would not make sense.
