In recent interviews with tech-savvy YouTubers, Intel has revealed plans for the launch of its Arc GPUs. Tom Peterson and Ryan Shrout have confirmed these new details in recent appearances, stating that Intel's GPUs will be released " very soon ."
In interviews with Digital Foundry and PC Games Hardware to discuss the Arc graphics cards, they confirmed that the US launch will include two high-end models : the A770 and the A750. The A770 will be offered in 8GB and 16GB versions, with a TDP of 225W. The flagship A770 will offer slightly better performance than the RTX 3060, though not reaching the levels of the RTX 3060 Ti, but will be faster than the Radeon RX 6600 XT.

Intel expects the A770 to be priced around $349, and the A750 around $279. The goal is to outperform AMD and Nvidia in terms of price-performance ratio. They anticipate that the Arc GPUs will likely be very close to AMD and Nvidia's in terms of FPS in certain games, but will cost somewhat less . Intel will offer superscaling via XeSS, ray tracing, and AV1 encoding at a reasonable price.
They also confirmed the importance of using Resizable BAR . Intel says that if your motherboard doesn't have this option, don't buy an Intel Arc GPU . Representatives state that Arc is optimized for large file transfers, which Resizable BAR enables. Without it, Arc GPUs will be overwhelmed when performing numerous smaller file transfers. This could reduce performance by up to 40 percent . This would affect older motherboards, as newer ones already have it by default. They recognize this as a problem and are working to address it in future architectures like Battlemage.
Intel says its GPUs will be available on its website at launch, but it's unclear which partners will be supporting it. Peterson said there will be partners with custom boards at launch. There could also be limited availability at launch . All this, and we still don't have official global launch dates for Intel Arc Alchemist, with the RTX 4000 and Radeon RX 70000 series looming on the horizon.
