MSI will release seven custom models of the AMD RX 5700 XT and RX 5700 in August

According to leaks, MSI will launch a total of seven models based on the AMD RX 5700 XT and RX 5700 that will hit the market in August.

AMD's RX 5700 XT and RX 5700 still use the blower-type heatsink. This type of cooling discarded by NVIDIA, has serious problems. Above all, it is highly inefficient in cooling the GPU and memory. By relying on a hybrid between GCN and RDNA, it still retains some GCN issues, such as temperatures.

But for those who want to wait, it has been revealed that MSI will launch up to seven models of these graphics in August. The company would have seven versions of the RX 5700 and RX 5700 XT ready to hit the market next month. Everything indicates that they will not have any overclocking and that the new Navi already reach the maximum of possibilities.

MSI to launch seven custom models of the Navi in August

AMD has practically pushed its new graphics cards to the limit. Thus statistically a great improvement in custom models will not be plausible. Some will have overclocking, but they will probably be the top-of-the-range models.

On the MSI graphics, the 'AIR BOOST' models will arrive, which we do not know how they will be. We see that the 'MECH' models will have a dual fan heatsink and the top of the range will be the 'Gaming X'. Mention is made of the 'EVOKE' models that will be a new collection of graphics of unknown design.

We will have to wait a few weeks to see the first custom models by all the manufacturers. These models should compete with the RTX Super Custom. We will see if they compete directly in benefits or in price, although there are doubts.

To boost sales, AMD is offering those who buy a Navi three months of Microsoft's Xbox Game Pass. This service will allow, among others, to play the Gear 5 at the moment of launch. A temporary supplement that can be good to see what these new graphics cards can offer us.
