MSI MECH 2, the exclusive graphics cards for AMD GPUs
The MSI MECH 2 graphics cards are shown, which apparently exclusively assembled Polaris solutions from AMD and would have been developed by the NVIDIA GeForce Program Partner.
AMD's moment in the graphics card market is not exactly the best of all time. Now, it seems that MSI has launched the MSI MECH 2, new graphics cards based on AMD GPUs, exclusively, at least for now. These graphics cards would have been developed by the NVIDIA GeForce Partner Program, although there is no concrete data. The heatsink looks like a mix between the MSI Armor and the MSI Gaming X, possibly being in between.
The graphics cards that will form the MECH 2 family seem to be only the RX 500 Series, counting only with Polaris silicones, since at the moment we have no evidence that Vega-based models will be launched, but it is possible that they will arrive in a future. As we say, these models will be located between the Armor and the Gaming, but going further, it is not possible, until the company officially pronounces itself in the next few hours or days.
Regarding the new heatsink developed, it has three copper-based heatpipes with a thickness of 8mm, which will be supported by aluminum fins and a high-quality double fan, composed of fourteen blades. The block will be covered by a housing in red and black colors.
Great features are not expected in terms of performance, since these should not have overclocking or other improvements, simply change the heatsink and aesthetics and little else. Everything indicates that we will see these new graphics cards, next June, during Computex, which is when we will see gaming graphics. The price should not be high, they should be at the same price as the current AMD Gaming X.
