MSI presents its ultra-fast SSD by M.2 NVMe in Raid with LED lighting
Like every year the largest fair in the world of hardware, Computex that takes place in Taipei (Taiwan), always brings us peculiar products that surprise and fascinate more than one. This year has not been far from it, and proof of this are the multiple articles that we have talking about some of these. In this case the surprise comes from the hand of a brand and a type of product that are not usually closely related, we are talking about a combination of MSI (with the collaboration of Samsung) and solid state hard drives or SSDs.
Leaving ourselves with presentations, we are going to get into the matter and let's see what we are seeing. Someone else will have thought at first that we are facing a graphics card and because of the format it is not completely out of place. The product we are talking about is a PCI Express 3.0 x8 card that allows two M.2 SSDs to be placed in RAID, in this way we achieve read speeds of more than 7000 MB / s. The models used inside this product are one of the fastest in the entire market, if not the fastest that we could find at the moment, the Samsung 960 Pro.

On the other hand, we can realize that these SSDs have a cooling designed to avoid thermal throttling at all costs before heavy and durable workloads, with a fairly small fan compared to the graphics, but quite large when we realize that we are before the cooling of hard drives, apart from the two M.2 Shiel that we had already known from MSI from past motherboards and related products. The price at which it can be purchased and if it will be oriented to the global market remain unknown to all of us.
