Noctua Announces NH-L9a-AM5 Coolers for AM5 CPUs

Noctua today announced the addition to its successful NH-L9a-AM5 series of low-profile CPU coolers. This range of low-profile, quiet coolers is designed for AMD AM5 CPUs, including Ryzen 7000 series . At just 37mm tall, they can fit in virtually any case, no matter how small.

Noctua's new NH-L9a-AM5 and NH-L9a-AM5 chromax.black are a new option for ultra-compact, quiet HTPCs. They also work on Small Form Factor systems using the latest AMD Ryzen processors based on the AM5 platform.

The original NH-L9a CPU coolers for AM3 and AM4 platforms have received over 100 awards and recommendations from international hardware websites and magazines. Their legacy continues with revised models for AM5 . Their design is based on the same proven cooler design to provide excellent low-profile cooling performance.

Its height of just 37m makes the NH-L9a ideal for extremely slim cases. This also offers 100% compatibility with RAM and PCIe, as well as easy access to connectors near the socket, even on mini-ITX motherboards. The custom-designed SecuFirm2 mounting system for the AM5 skirting makes installation easy. The optimized 9mm NF-A14x92 fan supports fully automatic speed control via PWM. With all this, the NH-L9a-AM5 runs extraordinarily quiet, even under heavy workloads, so users hear almost no noise during their gaming or work sessions.

For its part, the chromax.black version, with a black-coated fan and heatsink, combines these advantages with a stealthy appearance, so that it does not stand out on professional computers. Noctua's NT-H1 thermal compound, NH-L9a-AM5 and NH-L9a-AM5 chromax.black combine in one package everything users expect from Noctua's larger ITX and HTPC coolers with AMD processors. AM5.

Its optional NA-FD1 ventilation duct kit allows you to bridge the gap between the CPU cooler and the perforated side panels of Small Form Factor cases. This allows the cooler to draw in cool air from outside through the perforated panel. With this, you can improve CPU temperatures by up to 5°C or more, ensuring more efficient cooling.
