New RX 5600 XT leak shows it would have 2304 Stream Processors, like the RX 5700

Rumors about an AMD RX 5600 XT have been circulating for a few days now. While there was no confirmed information about this graphics card, ASRock may have unintentionally leaked some details . This information reveals the number of Stream Processors, the clock speed, and other interesting specifications.

Perhaps the most interesting fact is that this new graphics card will have 2304 Stream Processors, the same amount as the RX 5700. What would have been done is to cut some features, such as the memory and frequency. The working frequencies are reduced, the amount of GDDR6 memory and the frequency of these memories are cut.

Data leaked from AMD RX 5600 XT

According to the leak, ASRock's RX 5600 XT Challenger will arrive with a base frequency of 1235MHz, a Gaming frequency of 1460MHz and a Boost frequency of 1620MHz. These frequencies specified by ASRock should be noted that they are factory overclocked.

AMD has cut the amount of VRAM, from 8GB GDDR6 on the RX 5700 model to 6GB GDDR6 on this RX 5600 XT. We now have a 192-bit memory bus and the frequencies of these memories become 12GHz. This assumes that the total bandwidth becomes 288GB / s.

Note that although ASRock speaks of a second generation 7nm GPU, it is not a reference to Navi 20. It refers to this because the AMD Radeon VII were the first generation of GPUs based on 7nm lithography.

The information indicates that the RX 5600 XT will be seen at CES 2020 that begins on January 7. The price would be confirmed at this event and would be launched sometime in January.
