It is always interesting to know how the sales of the main manufacturers of computer components are going. From Germany, through the German retailer Mindfactory we receive the sales data for graphics from AMD and NVIDIA. There are not many novelties, selling more NVIDIA graphics cards than AMD and also, street. The best seller is the RTX 2070, followed by the GTX 1660 and the RX 5700 XT.
It is quite interesting that the first one from NVIDIA is for Ray Tracing and the second one without support for this technology. Quite interesting to see how the RX 5700 XT is the third best-selling graphics card on the market. Perhaps the most interesting thing is how much NVIDIA sells despite the high prices.

Possibly the sales of graphics from both manufacturers will stagnate in the coming weeks. In September or at the latest in October, both companies will present their new graphics. NVIDIA will show us the 'revolutionary' Ampere that promise great performance and AMD the first graphics with Ray Tracing.
Currently AMD graphics only reach 1440p resolutions, while if you want 4K you should jump to NVIDIA graphics. Also, the latter offer ray tracing, which is something to be aware of.
The difference in absolute numbers is not as great as in Intel and AMD processors. Specifically NVIDIA has a market share of 62.5% (2735 units sold) and AMD of 37.5% (1640 units sold).
Another interesting data is in the income. All sales of AMD graphics have amounted to 458.675 euros, while those of NVIDIA have amounted to 1.173.260 euros. This means that 28% of the total revenue from graphics sales has been from AMD and the remaining 72% from NVIDIA graphics. The big difference is due to the fact that NVIDIA solutions are considerably more expensive than AMD's.
