Monster Hunter World will be updated on July 17 to add NVIDIA DLSS

An update for Monster Hunter: World will be released on July 17, which will implement NVIDIA DLSS technology in the game.

One of the most important technologies implemented by NVIDIA is DLSS. The Deep Learning Super Sampling is a technology that allows you to take advantage of AI to improve game performance. Monster Hunter: World will implement this technology on July 17. According to NVIDIA, the game could improve by up to 50% in 4K resolutions, being able to pass 60FPS with ease with the RTX 2080 Ti.

DLSS is based on the Tensor Core developed by the company. These cores have been specially developed for Artificial Intelligence. Initially, these types of cores were developed for the professional segment, but they have made the leap to the gaming segment. They are a complement to RayTracing, which allows to improve the performance of games.

NVIDIA says Monster Hunter: World performance is improved by 50%

Specifically, in high resolution textures, according to NVIDIA's graphics with an RTX 2080 Ti, it will reach 4K @ 71.6FPS with DLSS. Without DLSS technology it was only 46.7FPS. The RTX 2080 goes from 34.7FPS to 54.9FPS, the RTX 2070 goes from 29.1FPS to 45.7FPS and the RTX 2060 goes from 23.6FPS to 37.2FPS. All tests are in 4K resolution.

In addition, the company has shown on its blog some images of the game with 4K resolution with DLSS technology. The problem is that there is no image without this technology to see the graphic enhancement, if it exists. So we must wait to see the first tests once it is updated.

We assume that game fans with these graphics will appreciate these improvements. In addition, a high resolution texture pack will be added that will require graphics with at least 8GB of VRAM. 1440p or 4K resolutions are recommended, to enjoy DLSS at full performance.
