NVIDIA releases GeForce GT 1010 graphics without prior announcement

An example is simple dedicated graphics for embedded systems. NVIDIA, without saying anything about it, has released the GeForce GT 1010 graphics card, successor to the GeForce GT 710.

NVIDIA adds the GeForce GT 1010 to its catalog

As happened in 2016 with the GeFroce GT 710, this graphic has been added to the catalog without official announcement. At that time it was more or less common that the graphics integrated in the processor were not something as common as today. Even so, there are different solutions that do not integrate graphics and require dedicated graphics, such as Intel Core-F.

As it has been announced, this GeForce GT 1010 graphics of Pascal architecture has 256 CUDA Cores. The GP108 silicon has been manufactured by Samsung under 14nm lithography. It does not offer this chart of 24 TMUs and 16 ROPs. This graph works at a base frequency of 1228MHz and goes up to 1468MHz in Boost mode.

Furthermore, this GeForce GT 1010 graphics features 2GB GDDR5 @ 5GHz with a 64-bit memory interface with a total bandwidth of 40.10GB / s. The power of this graphic is 751.6 FP32 FLOPs, more than enough to take video.

It is not shown as a great solution, but its mission is not to run games, it is to take video. It is possible that if NVIDIA has launched this solution it is because it has a demand for this type of solution. For servers, workstations or office systems, which may not require powerful graphics and only video output, they can be a more than sufficient solution.
