New Models of the Most Powerful Graphics Cards for Gaming and Creative Creators
These two new NVIDIA RTX graphics cards are powered by the NVIDIA Ampere architecture, bringing the RTX 3080 Ti to a huge leap in performance and realism with features like ray tracing, performance-boosting AI with NVIDIA DLSS, a reduction latency thanks to NVIDIA Reflex, support for streaming features with NVIDIA Broadcast. It also has additional memory that allows it to speed up the most popular applications for content creators as well.
Thanks to ray traced and raster games with DirectX and Vulkan, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti will provide lower latency for better responsiveness and a competitive advantage for the most popular games played by millions of people. For gamers still using the GTX 1080 Ti, the RTX 3080 Ti is 2x faster on traditional raster and faster with ray tracing as well as allowing other gaming-specific features. In the case of the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti, it offers 1,5 times more performance than the GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER and twice the frames per second than the 1070 GeForce GTX 2017 Ti.
For creators who need a powerful graphics card for their work, GeForce RTX 3080 Ti GPUs will also deliver higher creative performance. Thanks to NVIDIA Studio and its 12GB of GDDR6X memory for creative applications, the RTX accelerates Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, OBS and all major 3D rendering programs. There are also more than 70 content authoring applications that support RTX, DLSS, or AI accelerated ray tracing capabilities.
Artificial intelligence and DLSS on the NVIDIA RTX 3080 Ti and 3070 Ti
Powered by dedicated AI processors in GeForce RTX GPUs called Tensor Cores, NVIDIA DLSS technology increases the frame rate per second of games while generating sharp images. This gives gamers a headroom to maximize ray tracing settings and increase output resolutions.
The adoption of DLSS technology has been rapid, and more and more games are supporting it, along with support from popular game engines such as Unreal Engine and Unity Engine. Battlefield, Call of Duty, Cyberpunk, Fortnite, Minecraft, Tomb Raider and many more games already support this technology.
In the case of NVIDIA Reflex, system latency is reduced for gamers of competitive titles. 12 of the 15 most played competitive shooters to date are compatible with Reflex. Apex Legends, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, Call of Duty: Warzone, Fortnite, Overwatch, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege and Valorant are some of them, and that list will be joined by Escape from Tarkov and Crossfire.
NVIDIA Broadcast is a suite of audio and video artificial intelligence enhancements, including virtual backgrounds, motion capture, and advanced noise removal, that users can apply to chats, Skype calls, and video conferences. In a world with more and more video conferencing and streaming, NVIDIA does not forget more everyday possible uses for its high-performance graphics.
