NVIDIA announces GTC 2020 for May 14 where it could announce Ampere
The coronavirus pandemic has caused all mass events, including technological ones, to be canceled. We initially thought canceling CES 2020 was crazy, but now it seems like it was a visionary decision. Now rumors have surfaced that NVIDIA plans to hold GTC 14 on May 2020, possibly digitally. This event is expected to introduce Ampere architecture.
NVIDIA CEO Jen-Hsun Huang may use the event to announce the highly anticipated Ampere architecture. The press release also hints at this, specifically stating "Get Amped." It's worth noting that this architecture will be based on TSMC's 7nm lithography , which would represent a significant performance leap.
