NVIDIA RTX 3080 could be presented in late August or during September
With virtually everyone confined to their homes and hardly any new developments, rumors are rampant. One of the most anticipated computer components is NVIDIA's Ampere GPUs, which have recently been the focus of numerous rumors. It seems the GTX 3080 will be delayed after the cancellation of the GPU Technology Conference (GTC) . This graphics card is now expected to be unveiled in August.
Yesterday, without going any further, rumors appeared about a supposed RTX 3090 that would have 4993 CUDA Cores. Obviously there is no reliable data in this regard and all are rumors. It is true that the delay of the presentation of the RTX 3080 for the month of August has some logic.

Initially it was planned to present the Ampere architecture at the GTC and at Computex 2020, to present the high-end graphics. The first thing to be presented in June (July at the latest) is the Ampere architecture and Quadro solutions for the professional segment. By the end of August or September the RTX 3000 Series, perhaps presenting at the end of September. Remember that Computex 28 will be held on September 2020, which has been delayed.
All this delay would have to do a lot with the standstill that China has suffered for a few weeks. This is causing lack of stock and that companies have to modify their calendars.
According to rumors, the RTX 3080 would have a total of 3840 CUDA Cores @ 7nm of Ampere architecture. These graphics, according to rumors (we insist), would double the performance by 50% compared to the RTX 2080. The RTX 3080 will implement 10GB GDDR6 with a 320bit interface (256bits in the RTX 2080)
Below we would have the RTX 3070, which will have 3072 CUDA Cores, which is the same amount of CUDA Cores as the RTX 2080. This graphics card will have 8GB GDDR6 and a 256-bit interface. It is basically the same in many respects as the RTX 2080, but the performance will possibly be higher and the frequencies, too.

"It seems like the GTX 3080 will take a while to be announced" 🤦♂️I don't know if they do it on purpose or if they just like making mistakes...
