They test various games with an NVIDIA RTX 3090 and 8K @ 30FPS resolution

Recently, the new NVIDIA RTX 3090 graphics cards have been launched, which are directly designed for 8K gaming. Currently there are few who have the possibility of having an experience of this type due to the prices. On the one hand, the graph is already worth more than 1.500 euros and finding an 8K television or monitor is impossible. But, Bang4Buck has run several games in 8K @ 30FPS resolution with an NVIDIA RTX 3090.

8K resolution is not exactly easy to move around and requires power and a lot of VRAM memory. We must bear in mind that the pixel density is 4 times that of a 4K resolution and 16 times that of 1080p resolution. This puts into perspective how extremely difficult it is for a graphics to run a game at this resolution.

It would be ironic if the first graphics card capable of 8K resolution were to prove incapable. But it can, and it has done so in titles such as Horizon Zero Dawn, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Final Fantasy XV, and Crysis 3.
