NVIDIA: GTX 1650 Ti and GTX 1660 Super Rumors
New rumors regarding the NVIDIA GTX 1650 Ti and GTX 1660 Super, although at the moment there is nothing confirmed about them.
The last four months of the year are usually characterized by a flood of hardware thinking about Black Friday Christmas. These two periods of the year are when more hardware and technology are sold. A few weeks ago I jumped a benchmark to a Navi 14 silicon that would give life to the AMD RX 5600 Series. A few days ago there was talk of the NVIDIA GTX 1650 Ti and now the arrival of the GTX 1660 Super is rumored.
NVIDIA is preparing two new graphics for the low-end. It is quite curious that the 'Super' model, which seemed exclusive to the RTX, reached the GTX 16. Said GTX 16 graphics do not have native support for RayTracing and are somewhat cheaper (within how expensive they are)
Rumors appear about the NVIDIA GTX 1660 Super
To begin with, the GTX 1650 Ti uses the TU117 silicon, which boasts 1024-1152 CUDA cores. The current GTX 1650 only has 896 CUDA cores. The new silicon is complemented by 64 TMUs and 32 ROPs. It comes with 4GB of GDDR5 memory at 8.0GHz with a 128-bit interface and a TDP of 75W. This graphics card will, logically, be positioned below the GTX 1660.
We jump to the NVIDIA GTX 1660 Super, which has been unveiled now. We know absolutely nothing about the number of CUDA Cores in this graph. The GTX 1660 has 1408 CUDA Cores and the GTX 1660 Ti has 1536 CUDA Cores. Theoretically it should have quite a bit more CUDA Cores, but there is no data.
The NVIDIA GTX 1660 Super is also rumored to drop the GDDR5 @ 8.0GHz from the GTX 1660 and use GDDR6 @ 14GHz. Logically, the TDP will rise, possibly to 100W. Everything indicates that there will be no Founders Edition models and they will be customized models by different manufacturers.
