Introduced by NVIDIA the new NVIDIA Studio certificate for the development of laptops for graphic creation and development.
During the NVIDIA presentation at Computex 2019, the NVIDIA Studio platform was presented. This new platform is a certification developed for computer equipment for high-end design and creation. A number of requirements have been created for the NVIDIA RTX GPU and a NNVIDIA Studio solution package using specialized SDKs and dedicated studio drivers. Additionally, NVIDIA offers "rigorous hardware and software testing for the best creative applications and workflows."
NVIDIA Studio, a certification for design and publishing teams
A total of 17 notebooks have been unveiled under NVIDIA Studio during Computex 2019. These RTX Studio machines will be sold and marketed by Acer, ASUS, Dell, Gigabyte, HP, MSI and Razer. These notebooks have been developed to "create at the speed of imagination," according to the slogan of NVIDIA's marketing department.
The goal of these teams is that designers have powerful processors and graphics rendered through powerful graphics. Normally, those who are dedicated to working with Autodesk Maya 2019, Autodesk 3ds Max 2020, Blackmagic Design DaVinci Resolve 16, Daz3D Daz Studio or Unreal Engine 4, will already know which is the best GPU to speed up their work. It seems more like a strategy that mimics the Ultrabook brand of Intel laptops.
"NVIDIA Studio with RTX GPUs, which enable real-time ray tracing, AI processing, and high-resolution video editing, with studio-grade software to exceed the growing demands of today's creators." said Jason Paul, General Manager of GeForce Software and NVIDIA Technology. “The new RTX Studio notebooks are the perfect tool for creatives who need desktop performance on the go.
Truly portable power
Not only will they implement consumer RTX graphics, but they will also be shipped with Quadro RTX 5000, RTX 4000 and RTX 3000. This hardware is complemented by NVIDIA Studio Stack from specialized SDKs and dedicated studio controllers for maximum performance. The Quadro RTX 5000 features 16GB GDDR5, the most available for laptops, with video editing and 3D image rendering in mind. According to NVIDIA they offer up to 7 times more performance in this field than MacBook Pros.
NVIDIA's SDKs and APIs also help developers get the most out of their hardware. Additionally, NVIDIA Studio drivers are extensively tested for the most comprehensive authoring applications such as Adobe Atudodesk, Avid, Blackmagic Design, Epic, Maxon, and Unity. These NVIDIA Studio drives will be available from today and are optimized for a large number of applications.
