New M.2 NVMe SSDs from Toshiba subsidiary OCZ, who have introduced OCZ RC100 drives, inexpensive SSDs with good performance.

The SSD market has more and more solutions, depending on the needs of users, either in sizes or formats. One of the main manufacturers is Toshiba, who through its OCZ brand, has presented the OZCRC100, a new NVMe SSD model, which will come in three storage capacities, but above all, its most interesting feature is size, performance, well for its features and at a very affordable price.

New OCZ RC100 SSD, a good performance and price SSD.

In recent months, the price of SSDs has been significantly reduced, returning to optimal values for purchase and now is a good time to get hold of one of these units. 2.5-inch SSDs are usually much cheaper than M.2 and let's not talk about M.2 NVMe anymore. Toshiba wanted to adjust the price of the OCZ units, offering a good quality / price ratio.

The unit has a PCIe x2 bus, something that allows it to offer a random read of 1600MB / s, while in writing it can reach 1100MB / s, in the larger model, 480GB. It is based on Toshiba 3D NAND BiCS TLC 64-layer memories, somewhat limited to a NAND memory chip on the PCB. The size of this unit is 2242, making it ideal for laptops or compact desktops.

If we look at the prices, we can practically say that they are given away, since the 120GB unit costs € 49, the 240GB unit costs € 69 and the 480GB unit costs € 129. They are really low prices that invite you to get one of these units.
