Origin PC shows Big O, a desktop with an integrated console based on the Corsair Crystal 280X chassis

Last year, Corsair announced its acquisition of Origin PC, the brand of pre-built computers . At CES 2020, Origin PC unveiled the Big O, a high-performance gaming system that comes with a console. That's not all; behind the gaming PC is a console, with a choice between the PlayStation 4 Pro and the Xbox One S.

This isn't the first time something like this has been developed. Back in July 2019, Origin PC unveiled a unique system combining an Xbox One, a PlayStation 4, and a Nintendo Switch . You could say it was a crazy idea from the assembler, but it resulted in a truly impressive gaming system.

The solution they have developed in this case is based on the Corsair Crystal 280X, a fairly compact gaming chassis. Now Origin PC has access to a brutal catalog of Corsair components and of course, they will be used a lot in the builds. This chassis has a separate area where a console has been integrated, which can be Sony's or Microsoft's.

Regarding the computer hardware of this system, we start with a Core i5-9400 processor and a GTX 1660 Super. This input configuration is intended for users on a tight budget. If we want more power we can mount a Core i9-9900KS or a Ryzen 9 3950X. As a graphics card we can choose up to an NVIDIA RTX Titan.

Something very interesting is that the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 are cooled by a Corsair RL AiO. The Elgato Gaming 4K60 Pro capturer has also been integrated, in case we want to record or stream the games.

We do not know when it will be launched on the market or its price, but at least it is a very curious idea.
