Filtered possible specifications of the RTX 4090 and RTX 4080
In the absence of an official announcement from NVIDIA, the GeForce RTX 4090, RTX 4080 and RTX 4070 graphics cards have seen their specifications leaked. The most remarkable thing about these leaks is that They detail that the flagship will have a clock speed of more than 2,75 GHz to 450W.
This leak seems to keep the previous specifications of the three graphics cards, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090, RTX 4080 and the RTX 4070. The leak also provides some new information in the form of clock speeds for the RTX 4090. They would also have made memory configurations easier. and let's not expect GDDR6X on cards lower than the RTX 4080.
This would be the RTX 4090
The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 is expected to feature the superior AD102-300 GPU. But only the 'Ti' variant will feature the full chip. It will use 128 SMs of the 144 SMs for a total of 16.384 CUDA cores, 96 MB of L2 cache, and a total of 384 ROPs. The graphics card is expected to incorporate TSMC's latest 4N process node, an optimized version of the 5nm one.
The base clock will be 2235 MHz, the boost clock 2520 MHz, and the actual maximum boost speed will be over 2,75 GHz. Custom models could also exceed 2,9 GHz. All of this would be a bit more than 90 TFLOPs of computing power.

I would have 24GB GDDR6X capacity at 21Gbps via a 384-bit bus interface. This will provide up to 1TB/s of bandwidth. It's the same bandwidth as the RTX 3090 Ti and when it comes to power consumption, the TBP is said to be rated at 450W. The card will be powered by a single 16-pin connector providing up to 600W of power. . There will likely be custom builds over 500W as we saw with the RTX 3090 Ti.
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 would also have a trimmed GPU
For its part, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 will be a trimmed AD103-300 GPU configuration with 10.240 cores or 80 SMs enabled out of the total 84 units. The GPU will come equipped with 64MB of L2 cache and up to 224 ROPs.
As for memory specifications, the GeForce RTX 4080 is expected to feature 16GB GDDR6X capacity which are said to conform to speeds of 21 Gbps over a 256-bit bus interface. This will provide up to 672 GB/s of bandwidth. Power-wise it could be around 420W, which is close to the RTX 4090. Since the memory clocks are not as aggressive, the core clocks are likely can be adjusted for maximum graphics performance.
