Filtered the possible specifications of the AMD RX 6000

After the presentation of the NVIDIA RTX 3000 graphics, we are all awaiting the presentation of the AMD RX 6000. The presentation will arrive at the end of next October and aims to give quite a few surprises. But first the specifications of the RX 6000 have been leaked. It was the Newegg store who would have leaked it on the company's blog.

We have several weeks with different leaks regarding the AMD Big Navi graphics. These new graphics cards promise to be pretty impressive, or at least they should be if they want to compete with NVIDIA. But the leaks are just that, leaks, mostly rumors that later need to be confirmed.

Have the specifications of the AMD RX 6000 been leaked?

One of the novelties of Big Navi would be a Boost mode higher than 2.0GHz in all models. A few weeks ago through the MacOS Big Sur code, we saw quite reliable data on the specifications of these. The new generation of consoles are also targeting 2.0GHz or higher on RDNA2 architecture silicon.

This Newegg leak points to a frequency of 1.500MHz on all three RX 6000 models. The table indicates that 1.500MHz is the base frequency, so it has a lot of credibility at the moment. It leaves the door open at boost frequencies above 2.0GHz, hence the powerful stock heatsink.

The memory configurations of these graphs are also interesting. The new RX 6700 XT will feature 6GB GDDR6 with a bandwidth of 384GB / s. The RX 6800 XT will go to 12GB GDDR6 with a bandwidth of 384GB / s. Finally the RX 6900 XT will have 16GB GDDR6 with a bandwidth of 512GB / s.

It should be noted that everything seen so far indicates that the AMD Big Navi will compete in the mid-range, not in the high-end. It becomes very difficult for it to compete with the NVIDIA RTX 3080, which is graphics brutality.
