PowerColor works on five versions of the AMD Radeon VII
Information indicates that PowerColor would be preparing up to five different versions of the new AMD Radeon VII graphics card.
Data of the customized models of different partners regarding the AMD Radeon VII are known. PowerColor, a well-known assembler who works exclusively with AMD, would prepare at least five models for this new graphics card. No images of these graphics cards have been seen, but some information about them has been revealed.
PowerColor would be finalizing five models of the AMD Radeon VII
It should be noted that some information pointed to a limited number of Radeon VII graphics. To stop this rumor, AMD had to go out and explain that they were misleading and that they had a large amount of stock. They also stressed that there would be custom models left over for users to choose the one that most interests them.
PowerColor would be working, as we said, on five models. The first model is the AXVII 16GBHMB2-3DH which will be the reference model. We continue with the AXVII 16GBHMB2-2D2H model which corresponds to a Red Dragon model with a triple fan. We also have the AXVII 16GBHMB2-22, AXVII 16GBHMB2-2OC and AXVII 16GBHMB2-2D2HD models, which are three Red Devil models with factory overclocking and triple fan. No further data on these models has been revealed.
We don't know much more about these graphics, but all of them will be based on the Vega 20 7nm lithography GPU. This GPU has 3840 Stream Processors and 60 Compute Units. It comes with 16GB HBM2 with a 2048 bit data bus. Regarding the performance we do not know much, some leaks suggest that it will be worse than the NVIDIA RTX 2080. It is also speculated that the Radeon VII will consume the same as the Vega 10, which give life to the Radeon Vega 64 and Radeon Vega 56.
We recall that on February 7 these graphics cards are theoretically released, we will see a large number of reviews of these graphics and it will be when we can analyze the quality of this graphics.
