Filtered possible prices for MSI motherboards with Z490 chipset

The motherboard manufacturers, before launching the motherboards with the X570 chipset, already said that they would be expensive. When they hit the market it was confirmed that the motherboard for the Ryzen 3000 was confirmed this information. Now the possible prices of MSI motherboards have been leaked and they point to be quite expensive, so put something together with a Intel Comet Lake-S processor, it will be expensive.

The most expensive motherboard model will be the MSI MEG Z490 GODLIKE, which will be priced at 960 euros, being very expensive. This motherboard will be priced at 260 euros above the Intel Z390 GODLIKE motherboard. The price difference does not make sense, since no relevant news is added.

Possible prices for MSI Z490 motherboards

Intel has not integrated the PCIe 4.0 interface into its new Comet Lake-S processors. Nor has a relevant new technology been integrated to justify this disproportionate price increase. The most relevant technology of the Comet Lake-S is the Thermal Velocity Boost technology and it is only available in the Core i9 and will depend on the temperature. Come on irrelevant completely

The Z490 GODLIKE motherboard, the only relevant thing that it provides is support for DDR4 @ 4600MHz memory. We are talking about a motherboard exclusively designed for overclocking experts. Note that the MSI MEG X570 GODLIKE for AMD processors is priced at 780 euros. AMD's GODLIKE adds support for PCIE 4.0.

We do not know why the prices of new Intel motherboards skyrocket. These prices do not make much sense, unless more VRM phases are required in the top models. Even so, implementing more VRM phases does not quite justify the price. Intel the truth is that it is increasingly difficult to sell processors.
