Raja Koduri has published on his Twitter account the first images of Intel Xe-HP destined for Data Centers. It has simply indicated that the first engineering samples are available to be loaned to customers. It will allow potential customers to test the performance and capabilities of these new GPUs.

Intel currently has production problems with its various processors. Weeks ago it was indicated that Intel's graphics solutions for data centers would not be produced by the company. It is indicated that it could be TSMC or even Samsung who produces them, although it has not been confirmed yet.
Koduri, in addition to the images, in another message on Twitter, has talked about other graphic solutions. Specifically, he mentions the NVIDIA A100, the Intel Xe-LP, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 Series, the AMD RDNA2 GPUs (Navi 2X), the AMD Instinct MI100 accelerator and has even mentioned the Apple M1 SoC. On these he has said that “they moved the GPU barrier significantly forward, in all ways, from devices through home computing to Data Centers. I can't wait to see what developers will do with all this performance + Xe HP / HPG / HPC in 2021 and beyond - the Golden Age of GPUs… ”
As we know, Intel's upcoming graphics solutions are divided as follows:
- Xe-LP: These are the iGPUs that are integrated into the Tiger Lake-U for laptops
- Xe-HPG: They are the dedicated graphics solutions for gaming
- Xe-HP: They are graphic solutions for Data Centers
- Xe-HPC: They are graphic solutions for Artificial Intelligence and High Performance Computing systems
These graphics cards are expected to be seen in the next year 2021, with no dates yet planned. The Xe-LP will arrive first, since the launch of the Tiger Lake-U @ 1nm is expected for Q2021 10. Possibly the last to arrive will be the Xe-HPG, which are scheduled for Q4 2021.
