Patriot shows off its Viper 4 Blackout RAMs up to DDR4-4400

Patriot Memory has revealed its new Viper 4 Blackout high-frequency variants up to DDR4-4400.

The Viper 4 Blackout series came in variants with speeds up to DDR4-3600. Now, the manufacturer Patriot is improving memory speeds with new variants. These are the modern DDR4-4133, DDR4-4266, and DDR4-4400, all with 16GB kits (2 groups of 8GB)

DDR4 memories made for gamers

These three RAM modules use binned memory chips, and a 10-layer PCB for better power and data transfer. All three variants of this DDR4 are backed by a limited lifetime warranty. Patriot has already proven successful in offering its increased frequencies for platforms Intel Core y AMD Ryzen third generation.

Times of the different variants

  • DDR4-4133 (PVB416G413C8K) has times of 18-22-22-42 @ 1,4 V.
  • DDR4-4266 (PVB416G426C8K) reaches its advertised speeds with 18-26-26-46 and 1,45V
  • High Performance DDR4-4400 (PVB416G440C8K) has 18-26-26-46 timings with an operating voltage of 1,5V.

By the middle of the year, Patriot had also announced SO-DIMMs with speeds up to DDR4-3600. In this way, the company has increased the speeds of its memories over time. We also saw how other manufacturers, such as Galax, offer DDR4-5000 memory.

Unfortunately, this announcement is not accompanied by prices or release dates. At least it is known that the guarantee will be for life, as long as we keep the box and use it responsibly.
