Intel Comet Lake-S 'F' Series Processor Specifications Revealed

A few months ago, Intel's Comet Lake-S processors were confirmed , but they haven't been released yet. We already know the specifications of the 14nm processors that include Intel UHD Graphics , and now details have been revealed for those with integrated graphics. These processors belong to the 'F' series , which first appeared on the market with the Comet Lake-S processors.

These Comet Lake-S processors with the 'F' designation don't have integrated graphics, more or less. The 'F' series processors do actually have integrated graphics, but they are disabled. Although Intel hasn't stated this, it's believed to be defective and disabled on the die itself.

All specifications of the Intel Comet Lake-S 'F' Series

The new 'F' processors in the Comet Lake-S family are divided into two groups based on their TDP. The Core i9-10900KF, Core i7-10700KF and Core i5-10600KF have a TDP of 95W, so they are somewhat cooler than those that integrate graphics. On the other hand we have the Core i9-10900F, the Core i7-10700F and the Core i5-10400F have a TDP of 65W

  • Core i9-10900KF: 10 cores and 20 threads at a base frequency of 3.7GHz, being able to reach 5.1GHz in Boost mode in the best core. All cores hit 4.8GHz max.
  • Core i7-10700KF: 8 cores and 16 threads at a base frequency of 3.8GHz, being able to reach 5.0GHz in Boost mode in the best core. All cores hit 4.7GHz max.
  • Core i5-10600KF: 6 cores and 12 threads at a base frequency of 4.1GHz, being able to reach 4.8GHz in Boost mode in the best core. All cores hit 4.5GHz max.
  • Core i9-10900F: 10 cores and 20 threads at a base frequency of 2.8GHz, being able to reach 5.0GHz in Boost mode in the best core. All cores hit 4.5GHz max.
  • Core i7-10700F: 8 cores and 16 threads at a base frequency of 2.9GHz, being able to reach 4.7GHz in Boost mode in the best core. All cores hit 4.6GHz max.
  • Core i5-10400F: 6 cores and 12 threads at a base frequency of 2.9GHz, being able to reach 4.3GHz in Boost mode in the best core. All cores hit 4.0GHz max.
