As the rumored release date for the 12GB version of the RTX 2060 graphics card approaches , new leaks detailing its specifications have surfaced. The latest leak reportedly reveals its TDP and some additional details about the GPU and memory.
If these leaks are true, the new card would be something more than a simple expansion of the memory capacity of a graphics card from a few years ago. The idea of resurrecting the RTX 2060 with a new version would be to offer stock of cards demanded by gamers and professionals, and not so much by crypto miners, who should be more interested in CMPs or RTX 3000 in the case of cards. The website VideoCardz has already reported that the Nvidia RTX 2060 12GB will have approximately 2176 CUDA cores, roughly the same as the original RTX 2060 Super. Regarding power specifications, rumors point to a TDP of 184W, about 24W more than the standard RTX 2060 and 9W more than the Super variant. The memory speed should remain at 14 Gbps. This would mean slightly higher power consumption for a significantly more powerful card.
